A call from a stranger
Hey miss, fine girl, hey , hey
As the average dark skinned man was continuously calling out to me by the road side
I knew pretty well that he was referring to me but I didn't answer
But on a second thought I turned back to him only to see him making a gesture indicating that I should come to him
I got pissed off and I continued walking down the road
"Assuming he knows me why didn't he just call me by my name?" I thought to myself
Calling people by their names often makes them feel honored
Let's bring this home
When writing your newsletter to your subscribers add their names to the text
Call them by their names, make use of the "you" word more often in your emails
After all you're creating a deep connection with your audience
So it would be wise to call your audience by their names
"Write as if you're writing a letter to your friend"
You might have heard that quote somewhere
Of course when writing a letter to your distance friend, won't you attach your friends name to it?
Personalize your emails and you'll see awesome changes from it
Your open rates will increase
Your subscribers will form a bond with you and can't wait to get your next mails
Don't have a list yet?
Send me an email here or to my X account
I'll help you set it up, grow your list and start making $$ from it
Still me
Ruth
