- I was a mean kid
I was a mean kid
I hated everybody around me for no reason
I used to be a very bitter kid.
Yunno the type of kid that doesn't smile and play with the other kids even in school.
No one wanted to be my friend and I didn't care
I was always on my own, which made me shy away from talking
I had a cute face no doubt! 😊
I was chubby too 😋
But as I grew up (and to the person I am today) I've learned to communicate with others and with a smile too 😊
I started reaching out to others who were ahead of me
Both in School and on Twitter
My mum was pleased when she noticed this change.
This is what I call growth.
As you grow, you'll realize that you need to make connections to continue thriving
(Good connections though)
I'm so grateful for the connections I've made on Twitter
One of them even went to the extent of calling me when I wasn't active on Twitter to check up on me
Isn't that amazing? 🤭
Make friends, don't be a mean kid 😌
I have so many plans for myself in life;
- go to college
- have an online biz
- build my brand
- provide for myself financially.
That's why I'm on Twitter
That's why I chose not to quit.
I wasn't so intentional in building my brand last month
But this month, I beg to differ
Combining Twitter with school isn't easy at all, but I believe that I'll push through no matter what.
So Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday
You'll receive emails from me on my Journey (my wins and losses).
I'll also share tips with you on;
- Email Copywriting &
- Storytelling
Can you spot the storytelling pattern I used here?
1. Who is this story about
- Me 😊
2. What did she struggle with?
- Making friends
3. What did she do about it?
- She started smiling more and reaching out first
4. Did it work?
-Yes it did
5.What's the message of the story?
-Make friends and build connections
That's all for today's email
See you soon
Ya mean girl, oh sorry 🤭
Ya cheerful girl
