I messed up big time

My fear came true

Hey buddy

How's the weekend going?

I made a post on Twitter where I wrote about how I got ghosted by a potential client that was referred to me

Funny thing is that I didn't state my price yet

So what could have made him ghost me? 🤔

I've always wished to work with a client on a real life project but I was afraid of rejection

I was afraid that no one would need my service and that I wasn't good enough

That was my first time to hop on a sales call and I messed it all up

The work was actually simple yet I failed to close the client

He already had a landing page for his ad but it wasn't converting like he wanted because the copy was generic

I tailored down how I was going to help him change that

We went on a call and I couldn't speak boldly because I didn't prepare well

And after the call he asked for my work samples and I had none

Then it hit me

I've been busy creating contents on Twitter and forgot that I needed to work more on my skills

I needed to practice, practice, practice

You see, sometimes we get carried away by the likes and followers on twitter and forget the reason why we're there

We're there to make $$ and build strong connection/friendships

I took a break from Twitter and practiced more on my offer and skills

I've written so many samples which have been reviewed and given the ✅ mark

And now I'm back to share with you what I've learnt so far about email marketing, sales and personal branding

Look out for my emails every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday's

P.S: Are you a business owner or brand and wants to start and grow your email list? Reply to this mail and we'll kick off in no time

(You must have a product or an offer)

Still you heroine 😁
